DBC is a church where Christ is truly at the heart, We are a home to those of many backgrounds who have gathered to go hard after the Lord and treasure him above all else. We are utterly convinced that our greatest delight comes in our knowing God in all of His glory. Together we seek to passionately worship God, grow through the proclamation and study of His Word, serve each other and reach out to our community and beyond with the Gospel.

Let me invite you to join us in person as we worship the Lord this Sunday. You’ll enjoy, lively Christ-centered singing, a Biblical message, and a time of bonding around a cup of tea or coffee. For the children, we offer SHINE, a time of worship aimed at those in primary school. We are located on Waratah Avenue, a couple of blocks from the Swan River and our services begin at 10:30 AM.
At DBC, 2009 has been designated as “The Year of Spiritual Growth” and “fully devoted discipleship” has been targeted as the goal. We hope that you would be so captured by the love of God as to become a devoted follower of Christ. Join us during our Sunday Morning Service as we learn about following Christ in the Gospel of Mark. Or consider joining us at one of our Bible Study Groups as we uncover such aspects of discipleship as spiritual gifts, worship, and the disciple’s witness.
Are you willing to take the challenge in an effort to grow as a disciple? If you’re a follower of Christ, we’d like to challenge you pursue a few simple activities:
1. Take time each week to attend a Sunday service at church.
2.
Become involved in a small group Bible Study, discovering God’s Word and finding fellowship with other believers.
3.
Begin a regular personal devotional time. Meet the Lord in prayer and through the study of His Word.
4.
Offer yourself by serving others in a ministry team of some variety.
These four steps are obviously just the beginning, but we pray that they might lead to deeper spiritual growth!
